Pie Sensations is in Columbia Tennessee...on the square. Always amazing pie! Pie Sensations dot com

And you can find their daily list here: Pie Sensations on Facebook
I forgot to add...if you order it ahead of time, they have a recipe for a Japanese Fruit Pie that was my grandmother's recipe....I gave them the recipe and they made me one to try...it brought back memories of my grandmother from when I was VERY little....she died when I was 4 but I can still remember that pie!

OK, I feel it here!

You guys are ALL pie-poppin' officionados! Thanks for the list.

Here's one to add from my List

Open "Locations" and scroll down to LINN’S EASY-AS-PIE CAFE for my fav place to eat pie, then take a ride to LINN’S ORIGINAL FARMSTORE. Don't stop there, continut your ride to the end of the road. :yahoo:

I'm not affiliated with Linn at all, I just like their products (especially the chicken pot pies), they have all flavors.

This place is in the middle of prime riding area of Arkansas. The Oark General Store.

I'm sorry I hadn't read this thread before my Hooterville/AR trip last weekend.

Hot blueberry pie ala mode. HUGE piece and giant scoop of ice cream.

I don't even know how I paid for it. it doesn't matter. :yahoo:

(and there are one or two roads to ride around there as well.) ;)

Yea, I'm not sure there's a better pie destination for motorcyclists out there. Great atmosphere, food is good, service is great, and it's smack dab in some of the best motorcycling in the US.

I'm probably going to get smacked down on that last statement but I'll back it up a bit. I've ridden a lot of places, and while Colorado is beautiful and all, for pure riding, I'd rather ride in Arkansas. In Colorado I get all tied up in what there is to see as well as puckering up over the price of failure there. Arkansas doesn't have much to see, and if you fail then you have trees to worry about but not the thousand foot cliff. The roads are every bit, if not more, twisty and fun. The traffic is less and the pavement is great.

All that puts Oark right up there for me.

...and where else can you get 'possum pie?

No bonified pie-ride discussion would be complete without mention of Mercer's Orchard in Blue Ridge, GA:

https://www.mercier-orchards.com/

This place makes every flavor of fried pie known to civilization. And once more, it's strategically located just south of the famous Deal's Gap area of the Great Smokey Mountains.

Every year I ride D/G in the Spring, and the trip is not complete without a Fried Pie Run.

Came across the BEST peach pie I have EVER had today. The short bit of gravel to get there could have been broken glass, and I'd have still crawled over it to get there:

Golden Delight Bakery, Kalona, IA. Amish bakery/store just 17 mi south of Iowa City.

Bought one to bring home too, so excuse me, I'm going to have another piece.

This stupid thread is missing Canadian content. Fortunately I am here to remedy this. Just a short ride away from my house and located in Orono, Ontario ....

The Village BakeShop

The Village BakeShop in Orono features 'Pleasurable Pies' and 'Sensational Strudel' along with many other goodies.

It is dangerous to get between me and the cherry strudel.
