So I was playin' around with Photoshop the other night and started on a photo of me, taken while I was on the Dragon last month (photo taken by US129Photos). Started simple enough, some sharpening, contrast and such, and then started getting creative with different types of filters. I really like the way this turned out, and will look forward to doing this to other photos of myself on the bike in the future. Maybe have a poster done, though wifey won't allow it in the living room.

Below is the original and then the Photoshopped version.

Zazzle.. tshirt... nice image for that on a black t or polo...

I think you could do it through the forum support Tshirt link, just sub this graphic in place of one of the others... theres a sale on now too... i think its 20% off.

Here's another take on it:

As seen from the other side...

Edit: Hummm. The color bits need a little touching up...

+1, Gunny; would make for a really nice shirt graphic, Papa Chuy may ask you if we can use that design for SW-FOG 2014 or Western FJR Riders Roundup in Reno!

Now, what you do is take Nightshine's and your original and lay them one layer on the other. Create a gradient mask in the middle and do a delete on the top layer. Then you get the pencil drawing fading into the photo. No photoshop now and still a noob with Gimp to do it myself, but I did some cool shots that way back in the day.

I love the picture and what you did with it. I do have a question about your tail bag. What kind is it. that is about perfect sized.

Thanks. The tail bag is a Nelson-Rigg GWR-950. The description says it's a "mini" tail bag, but it isn't that small. I found the size to be just right for my needs.

Awesome image! Have you tried adding a little zoominess? eg:

This was motion blur on a duplicate layer, above the original, with transparency @ 40%, in GIMP. You can alter the blur parameters, use a different colored layer for the blur, etc, etc.

Here, this is what I was talking about. Whipped this up on pixlr.com's online image editor. Lots of photoshop like stuff without quite the level of control. I made it mostly work though, not bad for 1 minute of work.

There is some talent in here! I need to go back and see what else I can come up with.
