I have removed the dash panels and saw this unused connector on my Gen II. What's it for?
As long as my bike is moving, it reads quite well (reads high if stopped due to engine heat). Some cars have a calibration routine to bring them close to right. My Gen II doesn't but I don't know about Gen III.Anyone else's always read 5 degrees high? Under all conditions?
I agree. It's almost as if Yamaha engineers might know something arm-chair forum engineers don't know and not necessarily for assumed cost-cutting malevolence.Mine reads just fine. Seems to be far away enough from everything to read correctly.
