I am only 29, got you beat. I did get alot of funny looks at dealerships when I was shopping for my FJR. Brother has a VFR800, wanted a Sport tourer, but something better than the VFR for two up, plus I tend to go for really long days every chance I get. I love sport bikes, but I am 6'5", I love the FJR more. FWIW I do ride it sans bags unless I need them.
