Poll: Gaging Interest in FJR-NERDS '11

We just need to negotiate for some slave labor to operate those hoses and rags...

Truth or consequences event tickets. Mix 'em up and put 80% in one bucket and 20% in another. Draw numbers from the 80% bucket for freebies and draw from the 20% bucket for the hosers and raggers.

Then again, some stars like DE OPPRESSO LIBER travel with entourages, perhaps we could draft from his staff.

My take on it -- you know how you often see high school girls trying to stop cars for a car wash as a fund raiser? We can invite them over where they will have a captive audience, no flagging or anything, simply wash away at the captive herd. Oh honey, look who has come to wash my bike... :lol:

If you mean women and children, Alan, YES I do have an entourage!!! :lol: It's the only way I get to ride! Who said motorcycling couldn't be a family event! Only thing I gotta get figure out is how to travel with 3 kids and only two bikes without adding a sidecar to the FJR! Then, I could make more rides!

I plan to be there, whether a weekend or mid week event. But I voted mid week.

My wife and Sister in-law meet every summer in Maine to Fly fish. Might be able

to work it out so I can surprise them. Find out if they are really fishin.

for Sept '11, have dates for NERDS been set yet? I want to lay out my long-range travel plans.

Yes they have. The official NERDS dates will be Thurs August 18th thru Sunday the 21st. Some folks may come in earlier or stay later as they desire, but it will definitely be that time frame. The date was intentionally selected to not conflict with either EOM or CFR. For one big reason, a lot of us NERDS want to go to those too!!

The official announcement will be very soon.

Nah. It will be primarily an FJR event, and we will only be spamming the FJR forums, but if someone wants to ride something else to hang around with a bunch of FJR codgers, they'll be welcome. Probably get publicly ostracized for showing up with straight pipes or a scooter.

Or maybe were you thinking of bringing Martin along on his Beemer again?
