He's trying to tell you that looking for '04 fairing parts with less than "a few light scratches" is more than simple optimism

FWIW, the new prices aren't horrible, but re-finishing might be the best option.

I know exactly what he was saying. I just didn't understand why he felt the need to respond if he had nothing to add, let alone respond with a wise *** comment. I've been around plenty long and realize that what I'm looking for isn't common. If it's out there, fine. If it's not, then I'll deal with it. Just thought it would be more beneficial to say what I wanted rather than getting the replies from everyone that has scratched up pieces in their garage that they want to get rid of.
