I searched the forum and I cannot find this answer.  I had lights installed to make me more visible, especially at night.  However, the shop connected the lights directly to the battery.  After a few weeks, I tried to start up the bike and the battery was dead.  It was so dead that I had to replace the battery.  I don't know if my battery dying is a coincidence or if the lights drained the battery completely to zero.  Either way, I want to install a relay so the lights will not draw any power unless the key switch is on.  I have everything hooked up except I cannot find a fuse that is only hot when the key is on.  Which fuse should I use or where should I connect the "Trigger" wire?

Thanks!

Presumably you want a fused source for the relay coil, in which case the obvious one is the one for the glovebox power outlet.

I was hoping that there was something in the battery compartment area so I do not have to run a wire to the other side of the bike.  The glovebox power  outlet does make sense, though.

Thanks!
