When at the shows, I always wonder what people think when they see a fat ass coot like me (and I suspect, many here) sittin' on a hot bike. They probably don't know even the half of it.

Dave, are you on your tip toes? the California climate and lifestyle is making you dry up and shrink! Looks like you need some Rendezvous ribs my man, a few slabs of real Memphis ribs will get you flat footed once again! Been out on west coast several times and aint found a rib yet fit to eat

Thanks a lot! Now my stomach is growling; It's been 20 years since I've been to Memphis and the Rendevous. I lived there until I was 23 and only been back a couple of times. If there is one thing I miss, it's Memphis bar-b-que.

Dudes, I'm from Memphis, born and raised there, South Side and White Station high schools and 63 grad of Memphis State(hard to say U of Memphis). Went in USAF as a 2nd ballon from there. Used to drink lots at the dingy ole cellar in the Rendezvous. Love that Memphis BBQ especially at Leonards at Bellevue and Third. I plan on coming to Memphis in the coming summer on my 06AE. Will try to hook up with ya.
