Love me some Boerne. The Dodging Duck is one of my favorite Brew Pubs. Maybe I will see you down there sometime.

Maybe not.I had a feeling that 48 mpg was to good to be true. I don't mind feeding her a little more fuel for smoother acceleration.
Try this link.Thanks.............This a off the subject but is it difficult to move the handlebars back a bit. I looked in the manual it says to let the dealer do it. I usually do all my own work (when practical). Is there something unusual about adjusting the handlebars on a fjr?
He already has one, refer to first post in thread.Get a Power Commander.
Sorry for a late reply. The V-Stream is a great windshield and I use one when the temps drop and the weather turns wet. The V-Stream is considered a "barn door" around here but that is a good thing for protection but not a good idea when it's warm IMO. There are lots of posts here on various windows but I love the stock one in summer. I like mesh riding gear and ride with the shield slightly open on my Arai too. The hotter it is the lower the stock window goes for me. Find out what you think is best for you though and enjoy! PM.thanks......................I know what you mean about hot summers. I was riding in 103 degree heat the other day. If your moving it's not so bad but the traffic jambs can be pretty tough. I forgot to mention that the previous owner had changed out the stock windshield. It got an aftermarket windshield call a VSTREAM. Do you know much about that brand? It seems to work pretty well. I don't get much wind noise around the windshield. It seems like I get most noise down around the front fender.
