Question - 2013 A - Left hand storage box hole in bottom cover or plug?

Is there a cover or plug for the hole in the bottom of the left fairing storage box? If so, mine is missing... Maybe #48 GROMMET 3P6-28187-00-00 on parts fiche?

You got it! Some people have used that grommet (often with a slice out of it) to feed a cell phone charging cable out the bottom of the box and then up through the fairing to their cell phone somewhere on the handlebars or tank bag.

In my 2017-18 FJRs this is a power plug, BUT in both bikes, this has been adaptive into power sources. one for my GPS on the '17 and a power source for my friend's cell phone. Your picture shows that the power plug has fallen out. In the box itself I use for my registration and insurance for those nasty times I get pulled over.

Tom, The parts fiche look indentical to me for my 2013 and your 2017/2018. To clarify, I'm now 99% sure after researching and responses on both FLR forums that what I'm missing is a rubber plug, #44 on the parts diagram for 2013, 2017, 2018 located in the bottom rear of this box. I have the power plug with rubber cap (intact) in the front side toward the bottom of the box.
