See you all in the am

fjrvtx1300s, Mike, is coming from Fremont, thus the directions using I-5. I thought it best to give him the quickest route in case he needs to make up time. I live in Elk Grove.
Mike, if you are behind time, just take I-80 to Auburn. Get off @ Hwy 49, turn left at the bottom of the off ramp and head North. You should go through 2 signals and Katrinas will be on the frontage road on the right, next-door "uphill" from the Honda/Yamaha dealer. Rogdebs should be there direct from their house. We should all be there by 0700 or there won't be time for breakfast---Hellooo Starbucks!
By the way, that dealer moved to a new building and they arent' worth visiting anyway.

Well jsut pulled in from this great ride. Started at 3:45 am and got in at about 11:20 pm with just under 700 miles. Breakfast, lunch, water stops, pee stops. overlook stops and just plain stops. Great people and great roads. Almost thirty bikes. Only one 04 and four 03's the rest 05's with a couple of odd bikes thrown in. I can't believe I been up over 21 hours with almost 19 hours on the road whether riding or something to do with FJR's. Thanks to all who made it happen

This was a great ride. Thanks to Bluestreek for putting it together and choosing a great route. BTW, was it an accident that the ride length was exactly one tank of gas?

Gotta agree :)

Great ride, great peeps. Finally got to attend a ride after a few no-shows, big thanks to steve for putting it together and doing the pre-ride, although that was prolly no chore

I'll now try posting pics, and deb's reminder that she's "no Dianne -- highlander" when it comes to pic taking

Yeah, Tim, my BEST side to you. Wanna kiss it?

'Twas a great ride. 462 miles for me, 44 mpg (See what slower speeds do for gas mileage.). Goat-Trail-Steve picked a nice route, even though he saved the "technical trail" for the last leg. Yesirree, we likes them 20 MPH zones and 1 lane roads while riding our Super Sport Tourers (at least they weren't dirt, and it wasn't raining).

I know that most of this ride is included in the WFO ride selection (Hwy 20-Hwy70-Hwy49 through Downieville). Having not been there for a couple of years, I was more than amused and entertained by the roads and beautiful scenery.

Lots of new people showed up for this ride. A great day and.....we finally got to see and ride with the Rogdebs after a lengthy, uhm, er, drought.

Too bad nobody got a picture of the Kawi 500cc-two stroke triple.

Andrew and Sherrie, Dave and Dianne, you were missed. And Catherine even showed what a trooper she is, riding pillion with her knee still in recovery.

Was a very darn good ride all kind of roads, scenery, all kind of folks just a wonderful day. :D

Rogndeb the pics are just fine the river shots are are interesting. The food was good,a good

choice for a place to stop and have lunch. :D

The rider that came with me glass 1/2 full had a good time also. It was his first group ride ever.

" When I am on my bike nothing else matters" :D

Thursday some where between 6-7 am I will be heading down 49 heading and then getting on 395 to Las Vegas and start returning home on Monday. :D

Nice photos, the train on the bridge is my favorite. Talked to Eric (the guy on the Kawi triple) today, said his right leg was sore from kicking that little puppy. Amazing to see a 35 year old bike keep up with a pack of new bikes except for gas stops. His replacement tire cam saturday for his Aprilla so the kawi will get a much neeeded rest. I was pleased to represent the fastest FJR color being the only 04. It was fun to put faces with names. The traffic gods were pleased with us as those roads can have a lot of slow touristas in the summer. Great ride Bluestreak!

The wife and I had a good time seeing and riding with old friends and meeting new ones. We had a great turnout and weather was great.

I believe we had 14 FJR's and 3 non FJR's and a total of about 21 people

The starting point hwy 20 and Marysville road
