On the way down, that's precisely the issue, Mark. Properly tracked motorcycles won't keep up with airplanes or unguided missiles.

What was it, just about 3 years ago, OM? Methinks you need a pre ride lecture from madmike on this route -- and I'm not talking about "riding your own ride".

No can do on the bike, but I will be keeping an eye out for you guys as I run through there in my Z on my way to Mt. Shasta. Although, judging by the time OM usually starts you guys would probably have left the area a long time before I get there. The heat won't bother me, I would have A/C. :
