I thought I once read a posting where someone installed gold valves on the front shocks, can anyone point me in the right direction.

I'm about to. The front parts arrived today (04/13/11). Waiting on the rear shock. I might just do that all in one weekend...or maybe make a trip to a friend's who has helped me in the past.

Great post. I love pictures. I've put gold valves in a few of my dirtbikes. But on street bikes I've only every just changed spring rate to match my weight. Maybe its time to do both on my new FJR. Or maybe springs this year and gold valves next year.
