It's our pleasure; I should add that you, Jeanne, and Fred may have to go to dinner with us! We ate at a real nice place pretty close to the hall last year.

Food and Friends as featured multiple times on the Food Network.

For the concert Fri evening we're giving Jeanne, Fred, and Geezer a ride and we're going to dinner first. Dave and Ann (Cafn8) are joining us for dinner (I think). So, I'm going to make a reservation at Food and Friends for 1800 Fri evening. I'll make it for 10 so three more can join for dinner if they like.

I won't have access here until Thu night, I'll check back then.

Jim, thank you for being so well organized. If I was doing the planning I'd probably wait until the last minute and we'd end up eating at some greasy spoon. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

...and to be even more organized, on Fri evening Lorie and I will be standing next to our 2007 Honda CR-V; VA plates (Ice Blue, light blue for us normal folk) at 1740 across the parking lot from the main lobby.

EDIT -- we're giving a ride to Jeanne, Fred, and Geezer - car's full but we can meet folks at the chow hall.

Back from 29 Palms.

Geezer won't be joining us so I can fit one more in the car. I made reservations for 10 and I "think" we have Lorie, me, Jeanne, Fred, Axeman (Chris), Cafn8 and Ann - so, that's 7 with room for 3 more. The lady I made the reservation with asked that I let her know if the number went down. I'll check this again tomorrow morning before we leave (~1100 or so) and will go from there.

For riders, we're meeting at 1740 across from the registration hall in our blue 07 Honda CR-V.

What a treat. I missed the concert, but I didn't miss Ralph Stanley.

As many of you EOMers know, Mr. Stanley stayed at the Brier Inn on Friday night. In addition to making himself available at the bar on Friday night, he took a stroll around the parking lot on Saturday morning, shook hands, and humbly posed for candid pictures. He's a Blue Grass legend and an extremely pleasant and generous gentleman.

HOLY CRAP...Ralph Stanley was at EOM HQ? Now I'm doubly sad I missed EOM. :(

Hope someone posts pictures of Mr. Stanley. :clapping:
