Basically ran the "08" "Ramble Route. Except instead of starting in Athens, started in my driveway. Only two things missing from last year ride "EL TORO Joe's smelly cigars, and watching everybodys tail lights slowly slip out of sight on 536. [Actually, it was more like shooting out of sight, from my vantage point at the rear that is.] But anyway the weather was great, the roads need no help from me, If you've been down there no explanation is necessary......! Basically down 94 to 241. 241 to Millersburg, 83 south to Coshocton, south to Zanesville, Rode the "TRIPLE NICKEL" down to the River. Grabbed 26 to 800, 800 back down to the River,7 North to 536 to 78, to Woodsfield, 800 north to 250 and home up 77. 452.4 on the ticker but who's counting. It's still early in the year, there'll be plenty on great rides to do this summer. Keep the rubber side down. Dave

Wish I could have gone with you Dave, sounds like you had a good time.

Life is really getting in the way this year. :glare:

+1 on that! Wish I could have made it! And it was even basically in my backyard!
Um, we were, uh, riding, heading home after, um, 10 days on the road in New England... Otherwise we woulda been down there riding the Ramble Routes.

We may go down and ride the routes in a couple of weeks anyway.

Smelly Cigars??? I'll have to keep that in mind next time I ride with you. :cigar: Wish I could have been there Sunday...instead I was sitting in the JAR (James A. Rhodes Arena) at the U of Akron watching the 2009 graduation ceremonies of Brunswick High school. But now that's done I'm heading to NY this weekend to ride the Adirondacks.

Hey Joe, Cant get away this weekend but would certainly like to have the ROUTE you take sent over or posted for everyone. And Oh Yeah.......... the cigars aren't really that bad. Dave
