Im not quite home but in Dubuque Iowa for a couple of days then the final run to Michigan, great time. fun group,

Home safe and sound after a BAD storm in KS...rain some small hail, cross wind that made it difficult to ride in a straight line.

Thanks to John for putting in the work/effort for a GRATE meet. Great seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

Still not home yet. Scoopng up TOH points on the way. Hopefully home by Thursday. Petey ain't lying about that storm

Thanks John for all the great work putting this together. Good times. See a bunch of you degenerates at NAFO.

Just got home. Good trip other than to damn hot. I'm thinking about trailering to Montrose and just ride there. The idea of air conditioning going across Nevada has a certain appeal.

Was good to see a good turnout and John and the Lions club did a great job.

I made it home yesterday ~5:30 in the afternoon EST. Great event! Glad to be a part of it.........

We too made it home safe. The drive in the truck and trailer seemed longer than riding the same route last year, and I broke the drive up into two days. What a wimp.

Still going. :) . Was going to wait until home but as I'm now sitting at a Timmy's somewhere in Ontario I felt compelled to post. Place is PACKED! at 10:45 on a Wed. Sheesh.

Just pulled in and got unpacked. A little over 2900 miles for the 6 days. After unpacking, I am going to have to wash the pig. Bugs from every state have soiled my Gen 1 beauty.

I saw more cops today in the previous 2600 miles combined. Must be gearing up for the 4th.

A final thanks to all who made such a great time at the event. And specifically to John for the legwork.

I will get going on the ride report after a few days of catch up. Not sure which ones I want to use for the report or the ONE picture ride report.

The Red Lodge meetup was my first but certainly not my last, what great people. Made some new friends and saw some old ones. The riding was almost secondary.

Thank you John for all your time spent organizing and making it a success. The Lions club really had their act together.

I'm still on the road for another week and a half, currently in Denver visiting my daughter. I'm looking forward to wherever it is next year.

We made it home safe yesterday after a great time in Montana with everyone. I agree with FJRay, the heat going across Nevada was horrible, but the Sacramento Valley surprised me, it was hotter than Nevada. We got stuck in rode closures with 106-108 temps and no movement for about 20 to 30 minutes.

I arrived home safe and sound on June 28 after loosely following the Great White North Liberation Army for two days. I did not see the Army or any signs of Liberation by the locals. On the third day I stopped following the GWNLA confident no harm would come to the fine folks in the State of Washington.

In last night. About 500 less than Griff but also unlike him, no Dragons around here to tame. Did come home to find my son's thumb broken though so it's right back to reality.

Really glad to have made this. Great (and fun!) people, fantastic riding and all made possible of course by John's organizing and hospitality skills.

Arrived home July 1 by using Elite Airways to get from Fort Collins, Colorado to Rockford, Illinois. My FJR is resting comfortably in a garage of a friend of a friend in the mountains near Loveland. After the Red Lodge event ,I followed Big John's pack to Spearfish. Stayed at Bell's Motor Lodge and spent Monday at the laundromat washing clothes and Walmart replenishing supplies. Tuesday, using Big John's directions I discovered the endless sweepers of the Black Hills, and the Motorcycle Museum in Sturgis plus an obligatory visit to Mt. Rushmore. Got caught in a hail storm between Rapid City and Mt. Rushmore but didn't seek shelter until I got to the Mt. Rushmore parking garage. the Mt. Rushmore visit was limited due to the continuing thunderstorms all afternoon. Stayed a little further south in Hot Springs for the night. Arrived in Fort Collins Wednesday evening and put the FJR away on Thursday before flying home Friday morning. I well fly back July 25 to retrieve the FJR and visit Rocky Mountain National Park before joining with Mr. & Mrs. Linc on July 28 for the ride to NAFO in Montrose.

The GWNLA finally decided enough is enough for now....... never fear, there will be another trip...... Many kudos to BigJohnsd for one last escort around the Black Hills before departure, he did a great job on the event (and his helpers). If you've ever organized one, you'll know how much work the logistics are. We did finally meet some fine folks of the PNW I always wanted to meet, great people indeed. Awesome time....... total riding was 9220 kms (5700+ miles) in 18 days of the 22 day trip. Our SPOT's turned themselves off after 24 hrs. on the way home, in case you wanted to know why we were in stealth mode once we crossed the border at Port Huron, MI. (or maybe Lieutenant Bill turned them off on purpose so you don't know where to find us). Resting up here in 31C (90-ish) today with a supply of nice cold beverages.......... cheers. Thanks again, John.

I got home yesterday early afternoon. After leaving Ray I went to my brother's place near Niagara Falls and we went over to Buffalo for a free concert, Zappa plays Zappa. Dweezil is a great guitarist and the band backing him up are all world class musicians. There are very few people that could show the musicianship that this group put on display. Frank Zappa's music is not everyone's cup of tea but for those that can begin to understand what Zappa was communicating it is a joy to hear his music being played so well in a live venue.

It was a great ending to a great trip. Thanks to John for hosting another stellar event, for guiding us around the Black Hills and helping Jeff out with a tire. Thanks to George for allowing us into his garage to effect some repairs. Thanks to everyone else that attended that made it such a great event. I'll be in dirt bike mode for the next couple of months and the FJR needs to go up on the bike lift for some maintenance over the next little while. My McGyver repair on my shift actuator worked out well and gave no problems but I need to fix it properly now before any major outings.

See you either in the trails or on the road because you never know when the Great White North Liberation Army will strike again.
