I got home yesterday early afternoon. After leaving Ray I went to my brother's place near Niagara Falls and we went over to Buffalo for a free concert, Zappa plays Zappa. Dweezil is a great guitarist and the band backing him up are all world class musicians. There are very few people that could show the musicianship that this group put on display. Frank Zappa's music is not everyone's cup of tea but for those that can begin to understand what Zappa was communicating it is a joy to hear his music being played so well in a live venue.

Very cool that you got to see Dweezil in Buffalo. I've seen him do the Zappa plays Zappa three or four times, each one was amazing. I had gotten some on-site reports on Thursday. Ahh...summertime concerts @ the harbor - one of the things that I miss about the Buff....

So tell us what you don't miss about Buffalo. I'm thinking the loser Bills, the loser Sabres, the loser.................. and of course those balmy Buffalo winters. I lived in Welland and will always remember the storm of '77 when we Canuckistanis had to come over and dig you out. Also old Erv on Channel 7 news, fire on the east side, film at 11!!!!

There was a 3 alarm fire in North Tonawanda om Eyewitless News every night it seemed. Amazing there were any buildings left to burn after a while!
