I think you are reading way too much into my question. The ugly dog guy is right, I should have read further into the manual.

Just ask John Denver about fuel management- he went into the ditch just like the HD guy.

Thanks everyone but the horse is dead, and I gather that there is no petcock.

Oh, I wouldn't say that. Radman, I'm told, has lots of petcocks. He even names them like; Frank, Bruce, Todd and Spike, etc... :der:

Oh, christ....here we go again. Rad and twn....getting it on again......let's see some fire works this time, kids.

My dog's not ugly, just doesn't photograph well. She has a.. uh... great personality....

When the gas gauge goes all blinky in the reserve mode, I've gone 25 miles easily. I went 40 miles once out of necessity, but the strain of the pucker factor was not good.

Builds character, don't it? lol I ran out of gas once on a buddies bike....thought something was wrong with it. Put it on the kickstand and checked it out. He was miles ahead. Couldn't find anything stupid wrong with it. Got back on it and it started right up....caught up to my buddy and immediately pulled off at the next gas stop. Filled up to the reserve line. Hum do de ho...no reserve petcock....go figure. Leaning the bike over moved some gas over enough to get me to a gas stop. Live and laugh....and then trip your buddy while he walks in front of you to the beer store. Priceless.
