Reuben Run 3

I'm putting this on the calendar as a solid, tentative, maybe...

Last years sounded like quite a shindig. Sorry I missed it.

I didn't Chicken out....the dates are the same as the Avon walk in Santa Barbara and Steve and Karen are walking it while i work it.....then its the east coast i think.

Sitting here with my gut full of sutures gives me time to plan Reuben Run stuff.

I had been thinking of doing a poker run thing in the Cascade lakes area. Maybe a 100-150 mile run with check points in senic spots for photo ops. And of course ending at Harvest Depot for a Reuben.

Any thoughts or ideas. Might need a couple folks for check points. If it looks like there is interest I'll start looking for prize stuff.

Just saw this and called the hotel. The desk person has head in ass and the boss won't be in until Monday. I will sort it out ASAP and report.

It's a possibility. I might be doing a tour of duty in Portland for a couple months (Aug and Sept). Maybe I might finally make one of the Reuben Runs.

I just got a call from Best Western, got it straighten out room booked.

I just got off the phone with the hotel and head in ass problem is solved. The WHOLE place is ours 9/4 thru 9/7 so lets get this place filled up and have a Reuben good time. If you run into problems let my know right away and I will deal with it. My phone if you need it is 541-536-8556

I'm still thinking a poker run on Saturday might be good fun if I can round up volunteers and some good swag. If anyone has done this before I could use some guidance.

Bump for May. We are working on shirt ideas and thinking about the food.

Our Reuben master has added a beer bar and Growler filling station. He has 10 beers on tap. You can get up to 2 gallons of your favorite and take it back to the room.

The hotel is expanding so there may be more room if they are done in time. The current rooms are filling up so don't wait to long.

Still considering the poker run idea but there may not be enough interest.
