I just drilled out the ignition switch so I can take the triple clamp in for the recall. My friend is changing the oil on his new SV-650.

So I slipped some of the metal shavings into his used oil pan. Ah yeah. I'm goin' straight to hell. Probably in about an hour after he kills me.

Well, what happened? It had to be funny. Unless he actually killed you...Then it's kinda tragic, but still mostly funny.

Well, it went kind of like this:

"Holy crap, come look at the metal I found in my pan..."

"Is it long curly ones? I had those in my SV too, and the dealer said it wasn't a problem, that it had something to do with the way Suzuki machines engine casings. He said don't worry unless it shows up in your 2nd change."

"...REALLY??" long pause... "yeah, that's what it looks like..." another long pause... "ok, I guess I won't worry about it, then...."

Then about an hour later, he twigged somehow, and I almost had to dodge a flying oil filter. But I had him for an hour.
