Saturday looks like a beautiful day. Anyone interested in riding around New Hampshire?

A fish rises to the bait...

Whatchya got in mind? I went to Sag Harbor without my wife last week and now she is looking for a make-up ride.

It is finally looking like spring, and Saturday should actually feel like spring. Looking forward to a ride with you at some point Dan.

Here's what I'm thinking of for routing:

Meet at Dunkin Donuts on Rtes 3/4 in Boscawen at 10AM.

West on Rte 4 to Rte 118 North in Canaan, to Rte 25 West in Rumney, to Rte25C

Across river into Bradford, VT for lunch at thr Hungry Bear

VT Rte5 North to Newbury and back across river to Rte 10 North, to Rte 116 East, to Rte 112 East to Rte 118 South

Back to RTE 25 East and then decide to continue home on either Rte 93 or Rte 132.

The circuit north from the Hungry Bear is so we can go north to south on Rte 118.

Going downhill on the northern end of that road is a pain because of the poor road condition.

Just my thoughts. I'm actually open to pretty much anything that gets me out of the house.

well. . . Estimated Time: 3 hours 21 minutes Estimated Distance: 192.65 milesjust to get there. . . I'd love to the math (miles) don't work

Yes, that would make for a very long day. Maybe another time at a more centrally located place.

No takers for Saturday. Sunday also looks good and I would be happy to switch to that day.

Sunday gets me in. I'll be watching for de-tails! Or is the itinerary the same?

I think 10AM in Boscawen would work for me.

I'm in for Saturday or Sunday. Screw work I'm taking the day(night really) off. I'll be coming up from Plymouth MA. Don't care how long of a ride it is. I'll do 800 miles if you want, hell lets go 1K. Just kidding(sorta)

But seriously I'm in, it's about time I met some of you jerks :drinks: in person. If you are certain about the route and plan to do a .GPX file on it let me know, I'd like to check it out ahead of time.

So just to confirm... I'm in for either day, but let me know by tonite so I can get the time off, I normally work both Sat. and Sun nights. ( yes I do have a fascinating social life) :p

I got a bit of a ride to get there, but that's half the fun...This is Plan A

.....Or I might take the scenic route.... We'll call this Plan B.

Sunday it will be, then. Same time, same place, same basic route (we can change the route at any time). Looks like three people, unless Alan makes four. The DD is a mile or two West off Exit 17 on Rte 93, on the right side of the road. Depending on the roads, we're looking at about 5:30 hours, plus lunch. Problems? - mobile phone is 603-289-0809.

I need to consult Helen's schedule to see if I have any plans for Sunday :glare:

Wow! Talk about extremes!

I've ridden the expressway through Boston before on a Sunday early AM and it's no problem. It will definitely get you up here tout de' suite. But, on the way back you might consider a route somewhere west of the congestion, something between between Plan A and Plan B... ;)

Since I am in Albany right now, I am going with the "forgiveness easier than permission" option. :p

Funny I had a red '04 F-350 traded it for '08 dark blue diesel FX4 crew cab. rides like a caddy! and still have a red '04 F-150 (my wife's).

I was just down in acushnet earlier today. Little warm up ride, 140 miles or so was the loop I did, good ride. had fun,

Sunday will be better . I was lonely....

Packin' No-Doz for the ride home. I have a nasty habbit of dozing off when I'm real tired. Good thing these feejer's stay upright on their own pretty good...

Oh and lets not see who's faster. I'm too stubborn to lose B) it wouldn't end good. Lets aggree to both be fast and make the Beemer riders wish they bought fjr's

Hey man, you can make those covers when the sun's not shining. Nobody needs you to sacrifice your Sunday ride time to make those block off plates. But hey, if you do get any of those covers finished before Sunday, bring a set along for me! (I can say that 'cause I'm like 3rd on the list ;) )

And I'll bet DC can shift faster!!

Nuthin shifts as fast and consistant as an AE! I smoke my buddies of the line constantly mostly cuz I get in their head first. They have to try to be perfect in their start and all I have to remember is twist and hang on.
