Just in case anyone is interested or looking for a reason to get out and ride. I'll be meeting a couple friends from work at the Starbucks just off Route 30 and I-81 in Chambersburg, PA between 0900-0930, then meeting up with a bunch of other (unknown) riders at the Mountain Top bar & grill on Route 30 ( never been there before and couldn't locate it thru search) I think the group is leaving out around 1030. Seems to be about 70 miles out to Shanksville. it gives me an excuse to try out the new Zumo!!!! :yahoo:

Not sure who is actually setting up the ride just heard about it from one of the girls at work that is actively involved in the community.

Make sure you wear your leather jacket and pirate bandana hat. I stopped at that place (Mt Top B&G) last June, and all I saw was a sea of Orange, Black, fat and skanky. That dump is a MAJOR bar room brawl just waiting to happen. On a better note, that route through there (rt30) is some beautiful scenery.

Randy,

It definately looks like a lively place, just by looking around the parking lot and the numerous number of empty bottles scattered all over the place kind of made me wonder what goes on there. I was the ONLY non cruiser there (suprisingly not all Harley's though). But it was a bunch of good folks, all from the PA A.B.A.T.E (still don't know what that stands for, but they help lobby motorcycle laws). Anyways, it was a good ride :yahoo: and a great opportunity to go out and see the memorial site
