I just saw that Jeff posted in FB he went down near Golden, BC. he posted

"Only a broken clavicle and bruised hip on me. Brie had barely a scratch on her. Not bad for being run off the road at Highway speeds!"

" Black Ford Edge (or maybe Escape) drifted across the double yellow headed right toward me. It was either the ditch or road kill... I chose the ditch."

Damn it all to hell, very sorry to hear about this. Get well soon Jeff and glad to read that Brie is unscratched, fecking cage drivers suck!

I'm with Bust, get a gun, start shooting... somebody hold me back!

It's really a tragedy, how unsafe our roads are, glad yer both okay!

Easy now.....for all we know, that was a very important text message they had to answer.

What do you wanna bet the cager never stopped to see if the motorcyclist they had just helped to launch into the ditch were OK.

Oh crap, hate this kind of news. Hope Jeff is feeling better, glad they got away so lucky. This coulda been a whole lot badder.

Grab yer guns an mount up boys.. This is very annoying.
Don't be taking any guns to BC boys, them folks will take everything and you'll not get it back.

How about a Emasculation tool!

Jeff, let us folks know if we can do anything for ya!

Thanks for posting Marcus, and thanks everyone for your support and well wishes. I think I got off pretty well considering.
Holy **** man. Glad you're mostly ok. Did the other driver stop?? Really glad your daughter wasn't hurt. That's what scares me the most about going down when my wife or little girl is on the bike.

I just spoke to Jeff and he's in good spirits (and has a scrip for T-3's that he's not afraid to use if he needs them tomorrow)

His daughter Brittney was uninjured (they both were ambulanced back into Golden just to be sure). Jeff has a collarbone broken in more than one place that they've splinted for now and they've told him that he's out of commission for at least 6 weeks. Jeff's parents were coming along some distance behind so were able to scoop up all of Jeff's personal effects, bike electronics etc., and bring them in their minivan The bike has been towed to a wrecker's yard in Golden for now.

Anybody have a good used FJR that they'd like to send to a good home?

And no, the other driver didn't stop - bring a spare gun for me too will you Bust? (us Canucks are peaceful people, but you don't want to piss us off...)

Really glad that Jeff had the skills to save him and his daughter from something that could have been much more devastating especially given the photo of his bike. As for the driver... let's just say I'm not wishing good things upon him at this moment in time. :angry2:

Jeff, good to hear you'll heal and your passenger is not hurt. The bike is replaceable.

+1 on this one. As long as your passenger wasn't hurt and you only have 6 weeks of down time, I'd say: any crash landing that you can walk away from is a good one. I'm an aviation guy so, bare with me on this one! :clapping:

Sorry to hear about the forced get-off, Jeff. Heal up quick and keep us posted on your progress!
