Damn, ya'll are killin' me...wish it was this weekend

Brian and I will probably be the easy way back folks, but want to twist n shout on the way there while fresh and not belly'd full.

Good we have Zumo's with "go home" option.

let's ride safe and be careful out there,

One month and counting down. I'm a first timer to SFO and have two questions:

1) Due to work, I'll be riding down solo from St. Louis to ES on Friday morning. If anyone is on that same plan, or will be passing through St. Louis Friday morning (or close), let me know so I can team up with you.

2) I followed this string on the Push Mountain ride/route, but it is nearly six hours there from St. Louis and the odds of me meeting up with Scott's group seem pretty low. If the group has late lunch plans, it is possible I could rendezvous with you. Barring that, can you recommend the best route (most scenic) when coming in to Eureka Springs from the north?

Thanks for the suggestions. I look forward to meeting everyone.

-David

PS - For now, I'm "old school" - no GPS, so I'll be doing this the old fashioned way (maps).

Snuffy from pushmountainpics.com will be out if it is good weather on Friday and Saturday, May 1st and 2nd. He will set up on HWY 341 (Push Mountain Road) just south of Mt Home AR. There are some absolutely fantastic twisty roads between Eureka Springs and Push, if your up to ridin all day in the twisties.

Friday Route (maybe). AM - Meander across the Arkansas/Missouri border, take the ferry over. Ride on down through Mt Home to Push Mountain Road. From Push Mountain back to Eureka, if the day is getting a bit weary, you can take 62/65 (main hwy) back. This would be about 250 miles +/-, add another 100 miles to that if you take an Arkansas all twisty route back. (What do you think about this Michelle?)

When we find Snuffy we will need to take some xtra time for multiple passes, group shots while riding and of course the one big group shot if we can.

Scott
GPS coordinates for his usual hangout are N36.08912 W092.34527 Right side of the road if northbound. Probably 3-4 miles North of Hwy 14 on cr 341.

There are a couple of other good spots within a mile of that location, but that is where you can normally find him.
