UPDATE - 2/1/13

Tourmaster is apparently pulling their synergy heated gloves from the shelves for some kind of problem that they are not admitting to. They have no idea when a replacement product will be available.

So, I bought a pair of First Gear Carbon Heated Gloves, which have the same plug as the T/M - will plug directly into my T/M heated liner. They heat up very well, and the T/M controller will work. However, these things are horrible with respect to desterity. It's like trying to ride with DOG PAWS!! So back they go and now I'm going to just stick with my Joe Rocket Thinsulate gloves. They are pretty roomy so I'm going to pick up a pair of silk glove liners and hopefully that will work for the very few days when I ride below 40 degrees. I'm also back to researching grip heaters.

The heated jacket liner is the single best motorcycle accessory I have ever bought. I should have done that years ago.

My winter gloves are roomy Thinsulate ones as well. I went with the silk liners before moving to heated liners...you ought to give them a shot. I have Warm n Safe liners and they are a perfect fit in my gloves; dexterity is not adversely affected.

You need heated gear and winter gloves in LA? Or is that just for when you head north?
