Hi Rob,

I just noticed in one of your pics that you have a new seat. Is it a Corbin/how's it feel?

Keep the reports coming. :yahoo:

hey Scott good eye, yes it's a corban seat. I really like it. It's a little wider than stock and holds my butt nicley.

Well I'm in my tent borrowing someones internet over the airwaves.

We are at Sugarloaf key. Camping at a KOA campground with a large group of BMW and Strom owners. Having a great time. Went into Key West on Rum run tonight and went down Duval street. We are going back tomorrow for a closer look. I'm very burnt and will be using lots of sun block from now on. I will have some pics up soon.

Thanks for following.

Rob

Ok so here's a few pics .

We went to the Kennedy Space center and wondered around some. Maybe if you were 8 yrs old this place would be awsome.

Went to Key Deer to where the roads crew take the road kills and the place was full of Buzzards.

We had to go to Mile Zero in Key West.

Sunset at Key West was enjoyed by Brian and Myself and about 5000 others on the pier at Mallory Square.

We took in a boat tour out of Everglade City.We saw some dolphins and birds but no manattee's

We also have been roughing it out here on the road. We ran into a large group of BMW and V-Strom riders. (some said it might have been the V-Strom Mafia) I thought Brian might want to ditch me and hang with his own kind. In the end we had a great time hanging out with them for 3 days. The ol' FJR was the center of attention on many occasion.

One night while walking down Duval street a **** fight broke out. If you've never seen this it is very violent. These birds are everywhere and start crowing at about 5 am !!!

Hey Tom we totally missed that one ... next time.

Hey Brad we were in a pool in Port Charlette.

As we type this we are sitting in McDonalds in Port St. Joe.

more later........

We saw a classic FJ1200 in Everglade City. It was mint. I think he said it was an 89.

We camped at Cross City. It cost $15 for a fully serviced lot. The folks in the camper beside us were from Maine. We also ran into them again in Panama City. Happy trails to Dan and Marge.

I woke up feeling 100% as you can see.

DSCF2541.jpg

I let Brian lead for a few miles so he couldn't complian we were lost.

We camped at a state park in Down town Panama City. It was unbelieveable to look out at the city late at night. Sorry we missed wfooshee Walter at his home town.

And only 4 beers were consumed... albeit 24 oncers

Tonight we are at Desoto Caverns in Childerburg Alabama. Taladaga County. Go Jimmy Bobby !!!

Sorry we missed wfooshee Walter at his home town.
Ph***ing phone!!!! I was somewhere north of Choctawhatchee Bay when he called, according to the note my @@!!$@##! phone gave me THE NEXT DAY!!!!!!

In all respects but one, I really really really love the new smart-phones we have at work, but Bluetooth absolutely sucks on them. Keeps dropping the headset connection, or just locking up the phone. I never knew he called, even sent him a PM that night asking him to call (after he'd called - brilliant!) because I saw he'd been through Port St. Joe, 45 minutes from here.

Monday morning, been at work an hour, phone beeps with a missed call and voicemail notification. Truly useful!

Yeah, Rob, sorry I missed you. Not like I've never seen a Canadian before, though, since so many of you clog our streets here in the winter. :p "Whooz got a good buffet, eh?"
