Thanksgiving Day, my plans went to hell, so, I jumped on my

FJR and took a ride up the hill for a bit.

Left about noon, went up to Salmon Falls Rd, out 193 to Georgetown, and out Wentworth Springs Rd.

Then back home. Not much of a ride. This is the same kind of report.

An absolutely gorgeous day. Warm and calm. Like Jane Goodall.

Got a few snaps of the day.

I'll take a picture of anything.

Gas.

Salmon Falls Road

The last time I was this way, it was on a spring day with that Tyler girl.

Seems like yesterday.

What a year.

I practice my "skills" here. Hasn't helped.

It can be ridden fast or slow. Very enjoyable either way.

The "Roadhouse" on Wentworth Springs Road.

Busy in the summer.

Deserted now.

Parts of this road get very little sun - because of the trees - so they don't dry out.

(Like stinkin' Oregon, or something.)

That's it. Back out of the woods and into the valley.

Felt much better.

Hey, thanks for showing us a little of that warmth, ya' ******* ...

And you have 68 and clear Saturday, ya' ******* ...

Want to trade for 47 with 40% chace of rain? Well do ya?

Hey Hi Mike.

Yew Bastid yew.

I don't stand a chance with my weak RR's.

Love ya Michael...

You are really, really strange.

But I get it,

ruh roh!

Yew Bastid yew.
Dude. Leave now.

Heading out about 5am.

We'll ride the levees and get some pics of the sunrise and the ducks and December coming.

Maybe the Jelly Belly factory? :yahoo:

(We might get in free, with you being Prez of the Candybutt Ass. -ociation.)

Maybe Hudson will show.

An A as always for another great trip on the bike...and sharing it with us Michael.

They're always fun to read and look at.

Hey Carver, we don't have a chance with the OMs and Ovales of this world...but I enjoy yours as well. It's like taking the bike out...most any ride is a good ride...they're just different as no two are the same.

Good shots OM thanks for getting me out, like Dave said it's wet up here. My only condolence is that I took mine apart to do the valve check thingy and other maintenance chores.

Once again, a greatly entertaining Ride Report compadre; you and dcarver are tied for our best FJR Forum PhotoJournalist Champions. But I must point out, you only have one friend: Dr. Rich (per Copenhagen Kid). Shouldn't you let The Great Dane out of the kennel to ride with you once in awhile? Is that Niehart I hear squealing about the damn rain again? *****!!!

Great pics. As I look out of my window and see something white on the grass, it feels like the time of year where I start living vicariously through you people in the warmer climes, to a greater extent. Keep 'em coming!

I sit here in Oakland, CA doing a family visit with kids, grandkids and wife and such. Having a great time seeing San Francisco on foot for the first time in 20 years. Wish I had the FJR too though: this low-60's with clear weather several days in a row is killing me that way. Damn Californios see a wet road and have a pucker moment. Figures...

Loved the septic system guy, and that magnificent tree. Thanks OM.

As I sit here watching the daily temps fall lower and lower, knowing the onset of

pic31101.jpg

and the first snow fall and salted roads could come any day now.

OM posts another killer ride report with outstanding photos.

This is for you OM

Thanks, all, for the comments. Every one of them.

(And airboss, I'll dedicate the next one to your ass. )

Don, Dr. Rich took Susan(his wife) to Paris for Thanksgiving.

Instead of me!

*******.

And I've always been so kind to him.
