Whew! Thanks, wfooshee, I was beginning to wonder if everybody here washes their bike after every ride. I get the bugs off the windshield every now and then, but dirt and boot-black scuffs are evidence of use.

That was a new bag after my first lowside up in Alabama October 2007. Progressive got it for me, along with all the plastic forward of the seat, and a windshield. Then I crashed half a mile from my house six months later when that cat ran out to the street, and I rashed the brand new bag. It was a sign from God: Thou shalt have crash damage on thy motosickle.

Has anyone had theirs sprayed with Rhino Liner?

Would cost more than DIY, but with their color choices you could do chin piece and tops / bottoms of bags for a clean look!

Glossifier?

Yep, it's another coating from them that adds some UV protection - but it does make the finish "glossy", ergo, they call it glossifier. They have another one that is more satin in appearance.
