Lowering the bike is less than it's cracked up to be. Flat footing a heavy bike isn't the solution to better comfort or control. Finesse it for control and balance. Few can brute force it past the tipping point anyway. Park so you can pull ahead. Seek comfort when the wheels are rolling and the rest if gravy. Besides, if the wheels aren't turning, you're wasting time.

Not meant to be a hijack of a classified ad. Just pointing out that, if it works for you when in motion, then there's a good chance that it's worth keeping.
