So, Chevron is offering a no annual fee card that can reduce gas prices by .17 a gallon for the first several months?

I'm thinking of applying for the card then using it for the CFR rally. Reducing gas by .17 a gallon means I can run in the TurboDave mode all day long and still afford food at day's end?

Thoughts? Good or Bad idea?

RE:..... Food at the end of the day..... or TurboDave mode........ or just thoughts in general???

B.

IF I was going to get a gas card, it would be from Chevron. No annual, and a discount. DEAL!

They're freaking everywhere out here, normally new and clean facilities, reasonably priced, and red, white, and blue.

And they all sell chewing tobacco and small condoms, which will be important for you and your ilk. :D

I went the Shell route just a couple days ago, but thought about the Chevron too. It was like 6.1 and 5.9 of the other to me. In my IBR run this year I think the Shell's are a little more prevalent over the continent as a whole.....for CBA types centered in Cali I can see Chevron. ;)

Shell's is comparable at 5% for gasoline and 1% for other purchases.

We'll see if they continue to honor the arrangement after supposed changes might be occurring with credit card overall. ;)
