Jeff, do you know if there is anything that Mrs. Scab needs to help her out?
She seemed to have everything under control. Scab was stressing over communicating with all of us, as he knew we would be wondering why he was not posting etc. Everyone is hopeful that he will be released from ICU soon, but the Mrs. had not been able to speak with a doctor all day.

I'm hoping that JWilly can make the visit this afternoon for more info.

To raise a question, as we do here on this board so we can all learn. Was he in ATGATT mode? If so how did his gear fare and what was it?
I didn't ask (yet) and she didn't say.

I could ship him a 'loaner' laptop for entertainment purposes if that would help.

And if said treatment facility has wifi, or some other connectivity, and if he's going to be hanging out there for a while.

Lemme know.

Good idea Renegade, Unfortunatly my bet is that wireless equipment such as cell phones and WiFi is not allowed in hospitols as they can affect hospitol equipment.

Guess he's just trying to live up to his name  .....did anyone tell him that that wasn't necessary?.....Get well & back on the forum soon :good: .....good luck to the Missus in helping with the healing process (a frying pan to the head if he doesn't listen to her & his doctors might be in order ) :derisive: .....heal quickly....

Good point, but there are ways around the problem. The hospital will have a Bio-Med department, which is able to inspect and authorize any outside equipment brought in.

I work in an ICU setting where wireless computers are used. The hospital does have one or two loaners available for patients. Once Scab is transfered from the ICU to a regular floor, there will be more leeway about such things too.
