I think he'd look better on the silver one!!

Dayum, this pic added at least 50 lbs to Scab!

When I suffered my punctured lung, they wouldn't let me leave CCU until the lung was drained. Once I could get my torso vertical (sit up, then stand up) the fluid ran to the bottom of the lung and the suction pulled it out. Then it was 1 more day and I was released, though not healed.

If Dave is a "hairy man", pulling the tape from the chest-tube insert will be, er, uhm......an interesting experience. :dribble:

Great news that he is holding conversation and the prognosis is good. Thanks for keeping us updated.

Update from JWilly's visit with Scab added to first post. Please check at the top of this thread.

Jeff
Thanks for posting the update Jeff. Please keep praying for Scab he's a hurting pup. I hope I never have to see any of my riding buddies in this condition again. I had a good visit with Scab and his family, he and his family are very appreciative of all of the well wishes from this forum. He's in good hands and has a great family supporting him in his recovery.

I told Scab we can deal with him not riding for a few months but we can't tollerate not having him on the forum!! Get better soon!!

JW

What a bunch of girly girls! I walked off my wittle puncture. Where have all the manly men gone? :bleh:
Evidently it didn't take your lung 2 days to seal up. And how many of your 5 broken ribs punctured your lung? And just what did you do about the separated shoulder?

Jeff and jwilly, be sure to tell the Scabs that he'll need a recliner to sleep in. There's no way he will be laying down in a bed. IIRC, it was a couple of weeks before I could lay flat on the bed.

Wow, can't add much to what's been said, but wish you well and am glad that you have family close.

Actually, I wish for track shoes for the wifey. She's going to have to run around to do all of your errands!

:)

Oh., man.... Scab looks pretty beat up in those pictures you guys posted....... Oh, wait, those were taken before the crash :p Nevermind. Sorry, just trying to tickle those ribs

CRAP! I've been out of town until last night, and was just checking in on the forum this morning. This is no good at all. Please keep us posted... I'll go up and badger the boy in a few days. PM heading your way Scab and BB.

Man Scab, sorry to be reading about this happening to you. My prayers are with you and the family, wishing you a full and speedy recovery.

I hope you heal up soon, take care .

This is no way to try and impeach keith from office for crash club president .

Scab - Lorie and I are sorry to hear about your accident. We hope you get well soon and back in the saddle.

Mrs. Scab - if there's anything we can do for you please let us know.

Jim and Lorie

Oh man, you were lucky, you're still here! Glad you are mending and your friends here are with you.
