Just received voice message from Mrs. Scab. Our dear friend Scab has gone down on the bike. He is in ICU with broken ribs, ruptured splene and more. I'm calling for more info and will post update ASAP.

It's always bad news to hear of a biker down, but even worse when it's a cool, funny guy like Scab. Thoughts and prayers are sent for him, and Mrs. Scab.

The lack of coherent speech may be due to the pain meds. One would hope that he's getting the good stuff, since broken ribs can really hurt.

If Mrs. S needs translation of any of the medical-ese, or explanation of what's going on, just holler. I don't profess to know everything but ICU nursing is what I do.

Sounds like our friend is recovering but it will definitely be a long time before he is ride ready.
