Is anyone else having this issue? My left pant leg is scuffing the piece of bodywork just above the foot peg. Wondering how to prevent this, or best way to repair. This damage has happened after only 3,000 miles.

Use 3M paint protection film to cover any places where scuffs and abrasion occur. Can be peeled off without leaving any residue. You can cut your own from sheets or rolls. There are bike-specific pre-cut kits available as well.

Start by compounding the scratches out. Then polish and wax, that should protect the surface. Then look at your pants, any zippers scratching? Lastly you must be really squeezing with your legs, Try to relax a bit.

It happens. Yours is worse than most. As mentioned above, some type of Paint Protection Film is your best preventative maintenance.

I have used the kits from this company several times: https://thetankslapper.biz/

It's a pita to install yourself, or have a local wind tint/ppf installer do it.
