Six plus months away?I'll be watching the thread, but that's way to far out there for me to commit.

Put me down as an "I want to/maybe"...I'll know for sure around late March.

3 Nite Update

I called to add-on the Thurs (5/1) and got a rate of 83.94 incl taxes.

BUT... It was brought to my attention that if you cancel the prior 2 nite resie, rebook all 3 nites at once you get a 20% discount (instead of the 15% with the 2 nites). Wine Guy got even a better bottom line but that may be in CAN$ ?

So booked 3 nites together:

So no more slow ride contests...except for Wayne on the Ramble course itself?

Ok, Marq, I'll bit.

I'll make it interesting. I'll give you a 3 cylinder, 900cc handicap. I get a set of Conti Race Attacks on the SM and 30 second head start...

That sounds like racing. You know that sounds like a no-no.

You should just go your usual pokey speed...and don't worry about me. I'm sure I won't even be in the same county.

If I recall correctly, Extreme took home the first place trophy and Wheaty was a DNS. But I'm old and forget stuff.

After all the beer I drank...I was not going to attempt to do the slow ride contest.

I felt like crap the next day

...and the ride down to Hillbilly Hotdogs didn't help.

Just so everyone understands:

DNS means that you showed up, paid your entrance fees, qualified, but DID NOT START the race

DNF means that you showed up, paid your entrance fees, qualified, but DID NOT FINISH the race

DQ means that you showed up, paid your entrance fees, qualified, started the race, but were disqualified

El Toro Joe was DQ'ed for public intoxication

What is the code when the event is cancelled due to law enforcement arriving on the scene?

That may well be...but I had a great time getting there

That's cuz it didn't happen.

Gray Ray just had all the fancy acronyms handy...I figgered he would have one for that case as well.

LMFAO...not really, but I like the acronymms. I should have been in the Army.

That would be "DMF".

Usually immediately preceded by "That doesn't look that hard. Here,

hold my beer".

Well, it almost did happen. I did manage to calm down the front desk lady by saying they were all just a bunch of crazy Canadians going slowly as usual, and they don't carry guns, so everything is cool, and it'll be over soon. She rolled her eyes and headed back.
