PS - I am not a Football fan either, don't watch the games, hardly ever watch the Superbowl.

But New York does have a football team. I know they are easy to forget, the Buffalo Bills.
Yep, forgot about them. But even they play some one of their home games out of state (well, out of country, actually), in Toronto.

Yeah, but that's one per season. Hence some.
OK, I can (sorta) run with that.

Richard Sherman then is a DICK ....this season. He may not be next year ;)

Well it was a close entertaining game. Some bad calls but most games do have that and SF just couldn't close the deal.
Congrats to the Hawks and we hope you get your arse kicked by Denver.

The hawks sure tried to give it to them...

Right now he thinks he's invincible, wonder what a couple of TD's against him would do. I'm thinking (in life) it would be good.
Problem is he is so good they don't hardly ever throw his way.

pupplychow, lot of us grew up playing and watch football. Damn good excuse to eat, yell, referee and drink with good friends.

Seahawks fans are gonna need to travel...else they're doomed.
No 12th man in New Jersey...I bet a lot of blue and orange show up.
Actually the 12th man has traveled well this year. There have been large blue/green crowds in NY, Atlanta, Carolina, etc. There is even a bar in NY city that is Seahawks central. Obviously fans that are better off than me.

I have loved football my entire life, in particular the National Football League! I grew up watching the game live and on TV with my Dad, until I joined the US Army I spent every Sunday all day watching the game with Father Ed: He passed away while I was overseas!

What impressed me most as a young man was the integrity and honor of the men who played the game, truly dedicated athletes like Walter Payton. When #34 gave a post game interview he first thanked his teammates for the support they gave him during the game.

He went on thanking Bears coaching staff for their outstanding leadership, followed by thanking the fans of Chicago for their support!

"Sweetness" would end an interview stating how much he loved his Family, his God and his Country. Wish the NFL had more of him!

Don, Thanks for the reminder what a true gentleman and supreme athlete Walter was. Doing some reading on him, reminded me how larger than life the man was and how we lost him way too soon. I'm going to get his autobiography 'Never Die Easy', sounds like it will be an inspiring read. On topic, yes Mr. Sherman shot his mouth off and deserves some criticism, but it doesn't take away the fact that he's risen above some tough odds and other than being a bit too flashy, it appears he's very genuine in his commitment to his team and craft.

That's nice.

He's still a Dick.
