Great seeing [most of ;) ] y'all this morning! Thanks again to Marcus for taking the lead and setting up the annual gig. Another good day at the show..ended up with more visiting than looking today though. Managed to escape w/o spending any more $$$.

blufjr & I ran into 'Sharp' from many years ago and reminisced about the old times. Hopefully we'll see him back on the forum.

Holy COW! All these photos are great! You PNW *******s are always just the BEST at sharing the good times through pictures.

(If I was wearing wet socks, I'd feel like I was actually THERE in Seattle.)

It was awesome to see everyone again! Thanks to Marcus for organizing a fine GTG. Glad we sorted the bill, too...

Managed to wander the halls, enjoyed seeing fresh bikes (was VERY impressed with the new Triumph Explorer w/the big triple). I think this was a better show that last year.

Walked out having not spent any money, which I could as a minor miracle. :)

As always, though, the highlight was seeing folks again during the holidays. :)

Phound a phew fotos from the camera that are in focus...something's up with the Nikon or I've got the shakes. Dunno what's up...

For Tom Edison -- nice looking Versys.

But figured this would be a better start due to the down turn in the economy.

Thanks to Marcus for setting up the breakfast before the show. The breakfast was certainly the highlight of the day, plus getting there early was much better than being at the show in the afternoon. When I left the show around 11:30, the line to get tickets was absurdly long and the lot full sign was hung by the parking garage with care.

Leaving the show, as a walk along the street near the parking garage, three obnoxiousnessly noisy Harleys cruised by, with riders blipping throttles screaming "look at me". They did not attempt to park in the garage but continued down the road. As I walk into the parking garage, a fellow on a quiet sport bike ignores the sign and pulls into the garage. The irony of the "bad ass" bikers obeying the sign, while the "average joe" biker chooses to take a slight risk to find parking in the garage was amusing to say the least.

Here are some photos I shot at the show. After the show I went for a short ride in the Enumclaw area and found an interesting cloud over Mt. Rainier.

I like looking at old iron.

A Honda (wet) dream.

The Beggining:

I quickly grew bored with the cycle show and decide to go for a ride. I have seen most of this stuff before. A while later I find myself in Enumclaw with an "inverted tornado" cloud over Mt. Rainier. This is why I ride - I always seen something new.

I like both of these, Kevin.

I've seen photos in the bike magazines and can't imagine the difference seeing them "up close and personal".

The Norton: Waaay kewel!

The Triumph: Holey Moley!

1200+ cc engine, horsepower near the MultiStrada, cruise control, switchable traction control and ABS "standard", 950 watt generator should take care of heated and electrical farkles.....

Oh my...and the Triumph dealer is about 4 miles from my front door......

It also has a fly by wire throttle, no cables, it felt very light and smooth.

Great to see everyone. Thanks a bunch to Marcus and Dave for getting all the swag and setting up the breakfast gathering. See you all in the spring.
