Johnny - Johnny - Johnny - The boys will be so disappointed that you bailed on them again. :p https://www.mrsocalgaybiker.com/index.html

It amazes me that so many SR-8 identified men on this site know so much about the GA-HEY community. :D :D :D
I am good. I have plenty of time to make the rally Sunday morning after we break camp. I think it is important to go out and support Bluesy. After all he is our friend and deserves our support.
johnny80s: As Silver Penguin always says, this thread is worthless without photos. Take plenty of pictures at the Biker Pride Rally next Sunday for your FJR Forum Friends.
Don - You're encouraging him...
Stop it!
johnny80s, this is your Papa Chuy speaking: Stop it! Simon Says.

Update - we also have space 35. Coldcut and Ms. Coldcut and some of their family will be joining us too. They rented out space 35 and have 7 people going.
We still have a few spaces but the parking is starting to get cramped. If anyone wants to hitch a ride let us know.

Update - We will be there Friday and Saturday nights so anyone who wants to camp both nights is free to show up.
I was reading on the Mount Laguna Campground web site that only 2 vehicles per site and then they start charging extra per vehicle. Can you confirm if a MC is considered a vehicle in their book. We will be bringing the truck (packed with firewood) and the feejer for day rides.

Two bikes are equal to one car. I am bringing my truck, Neil and Janet and Jill and Andy are both bringing bikes, Coldcut and wife are bringing a bike and car because they all won't fit in a car, Ed is bringing his 4 runner and I am not sure what Brian is driving. It looks like we are pretty well parked up so they might hit us up for more parking fees. If you can put bike in the back of the truck that would help. If you are going to trailer it then that is going to kill our parking space. I am bringing my truck so you are welcome to put anything you want in the back. I was going to bring some wood (not a truck full) too. Give me a call if you to discuss more. We will make it all happen.

...Neil and Janet and Jill and Andy are both bringing bikes...
Just to be clear, Janet is riding her Ninja 500 and I'm on the Feejer so that's two bikes right there. Jill and Andy should be two more bikes.

Damn, it's looking like the cages may outnumber the bikes.

We had thought about bringing our dual sport bikes in the truck, so that we can also bring the dogs and the big tent. Coming on the GS's instead, because of the parking consideration. Andy is pretty good with packing bikes in tight though. He keeps saying that there is room for at least one more in our garage, then moves the ones we've got, to demonstrate that fact.

The Mount Laguna web site also mentioned the 1st dog is okay but each additional dog there is a charge per day.

Let's get a bike, vehicle, dog and person count.

If 2 bikes = 1 vehicle, how many half pints (kids) = 1 adult?

Johnny80s, you do have your site for 2 days, right? The other 2 sites are reserved for 1 or 2 days?

Where am I going with this? Help me.

I am intrigued, yet somehow frightened by both this thread's purpose and content.

Keep up the good work, guys!

BTW, any update on food? Will there be a group dinner, or should we just plan on every man/woman/child/dog for themself? If we are on our own, will we be able to use some BBQ space, or should we plan for that also?

I'm figuring lunch, breakfast and beverages on our own at any rate.

We're planning to set up camp on Saturday, then go to lunch at the diner we went to last time. Will go to the same place for breakfast, then come back to camp and get packed up. Relying on Big John for dinner (which we will of course, give him $$ for).

We planned to eat all our meals at the camp. I bought a giant cooler since my wife thinks we are going into deepest, darkest africa. I will bring food for anyone that does not have a cooler but you will need to call me so we can discuss.

PM me if you need my number or get it off the list that is sent around through email.

We will be there friday and saturday. I am not sure when we will get there on friday.

This thread is starting to sound like a V-Twin gathering. Blah, blah, bah "Trucks", blah, blah, blah "Food", blah, blah, "Trailer"....

Sounds like a bunch of trailer queens with super-duty trucks vying for parking space at the big Bar-B-Q.

Sounds like somebody is bummed to be left out of a Bar B Que.

Don't be a hater! :p

RadioHowie, make yourself another bowl of popcorn to watch this thread with. Now that Neil San Diego is chiming in, this thread will careen into a "Soup Sandwich" at lightning speed. Will be out of control very shortly!!!

LOL! We could bring the big trailer, with a couple of bikes inside and a couple of bikes in the truck. Of course, that means we'd need the F350 to pull it. The dogs don't let us use the trailer without them, so they'd be coming along too.

Then again, we just just throw a two man tent and a couple of sleeping bags onto a pair of motorcycles, and actually RIDE there.

Don't forget that this event involves Los Robustos, so appropriate quantities of food need to be trucked in. That's not something that can be easily carried on a bike. Maybe we need a fleet of big rigs?

Jill, Shiny and I are just bummed out that we cannot make both events! We have not figured out a way to be in two places at the same time like Old Michael does. If we were not going to be at WFO: The Stanley Boys would definitely be at the San Diego Campout. If this event occurs again next year, I will pull Miss Lucy Liu FJR on a trailer behind our Jeep Liberty; that way we can bring along all of our camping and cooking gear, plus have our sport tourer FJR with us. And on top of that, we would bring along Bear our Labrador Retriever to play with your pups!

Sincerely, The Stanley Boys: Currently at the Bandon Inn in Oregon on the cool Pacific Ocean. Heading to the ShinyPartsUp house for tonight and the three of us go to Eureka, CA tomorrow morning.

Yeah, it sounds like fun, but Cali is too big a state to hit both events on the same weekend. Unless you are Matt, Greg or somebody who likes a sore ***. Wait a minute! We are back to talking about J80s picture again. How'd that happen?

Not yet sure if I'm coming later Friday or earlier Sat. I'm riding so I will be contacting you as far as cooler stuff. Thanks for arranging John...

Neil,

We are going to commandeer Johnny80s BBQ for our food prep and you can throw your parishables into our cooler. MsNASCAR and I are bringing salmon for the barbie and we can pick up anything you want to add to the cooler if you don't have room, i.e. beer, wine, sodas, meats (the necessities). Have Janet give wifie a call today for the planning.
