Self Cancelling Turn Indicators for FJR

I'd settle for turn signals that turn off with the ignition. What's that about? The windshield retracts but the turn signals resume their previous state = stoooooopid. Gotta be the same engineer who did the cubby latch. Oh wait: could be a safety feature. Turn on the ignition after the wreck to see if the rider really did have his/her turn signal on.

Self canceling turn signals? This is a standard feature on my FJR! Should I have paid xtra for this?

I had self cancellling turn signals on my 1980 Suzuki GS1000G.

I am clueless as to why Yamaha did not think of that for the FJR. :ermm:
