Self cancelling turn signals.....?????

I really struggle with this issue. Notice that for 06 Yamaha decided to make the turn signal indicators petite!! They are barely visible. 05 and earlier were large and brite amber. You would have thought the engineers at Yamaha would have added self cancelling turn signals to make up for this change.

Perhaps they will come up with some software fix. Right..as part of the package that fixes the MPG(stuck on 17). Yea Yea that's the ticket!!

Anyone have an idea how this issue can get corrected? Any after market fix?

My riding buddies are constantly reminding me that I left them on.

Yes, I know...I've got old timers disease!!

Guess I got use to my last purchase ..... 2004 Kawi Mean Streak cruiser...cool self cancelling system based on time and distance traveled.

Am I asking for too much??

+1. I almost never look at the turn signal indicators - if I want them on, I just turn them on, and if I want them off, I just press cancel - early and often.

I would really like S-C-T/S as well. I cacel early and ofter too, but sometimes forget to cancel. Annoying, and unnecessary; should be standard as turn signals inadvertantly left on invite trouble from cagers.
