The manual for my CBR1100XX is very clear when describing the sequence for checking valve clearances. However, I can't quite figure it out when reading the FJR1300 Service Manual.
For the Blackbird the sequence is:
Turn the crankshaft clockwise so that the T mark on the ignition pulse generator rotor aligns with the index mark on the ignition pulse generator rotor cover. At this position, you can check the clearances for the Intake Valves for cylinders #1 and #3.
Then turn the crankshaft 1/2 turn (180 degrees) to check the Exhaust Valves for cylinders #2 and #4.
Then turn the crankshaft 1/2 turn (180 degrees) to check the Intake Valves for cylinders #2 and #4.
Finally, turn the crankshaft 1/2 turn (180 degrees) to check the Exhaust Valves for cylinders #1 and #3.
What's the sequence for checking the clearances on the FJR1300?
