Those of you having issues, you can't use the [ img ] tags any more. You have to use the image button in the post-editor toolbar. Get the url of the image into your clipboard, click the image button, and paste the URL in the box and click OK. The image now appears in the post editor instead of the line of forum code. The folks who write the forum code apparently think that makes life easier for us.

Anyway, my humble submissions, starting with sunset from the park at the end of my street, less than 1,000 feet from my driveway, so I didn't have to ride there

Some "artsy" ones: I don't know why I like this one so much. I guess it's the question of whether you see trees or a forest. My mother (or her mother) would have liked a jigsaw puzzle made from any of these, though.

And finally, FJR content! Parked at my local St. Andrews State Park. All of my park and creature pics are taken on rides to their locations (I don't drive there.) My camera gear exactly fits one of the side cases, the other side case holds my rain gear, and I have the top case to lock my riding gear into when I arrive and start walking around. BTW, my FJR is sitting at just about maximum lean angle when it's on the sidestand!

By the way.....that sunk ship is what holds the 2013 fjrs with the modified cruise control with no speed limit.

Beautiful pictures Guys. With all the "I can't post pictures anymore" problems. I'm wondering why the Forum can't set it up to post pictures as easy as you can drop a picture into Facebook. It can't be that hard, can it? Insert Rolling Eyes Smiley Face (Here).

Some stiff competition already posted, but a few from our trip to NAFO last June.

Apparently, I am not "allowed" to post pictures from links here....so I guess that mean's I won't share.

Testing, testing... 1, 2, 3...

EDIT: I copied your photo url and then used the Image icon, pasted it in there, and voila! Photo came through... I have found also that using MS Word as a document to create a report with IMG tags no longer works here... if you use a more benign program (Notepad), there seems to be less issues with coding or some such when typing this stuff in... just my :2cents. :)

Damn when Ms. Tyler can't post photos the forum is not what is was before. Hopefully an admin can help out and get this fixed.

Ms. Tyler posts are among the best ride reports on the forum. The work she does is much better than the ride reports in the the popular national cycle publications.

Thanks, honey, but I can still post ride reports and such but just have to use a different program (i.e. Notepad instead of MS Word) to put it all together and then copy/paste into a thread.

As long as you can still do it Ms. Tyler. I look forward to your pics and reports and they are truly one of my favorite parts of this forum. Even Mrs. Redfish Hunter who normally hates everything I like enjoys looking through your excellent photos with me.

Well the forum should support your method for posting because everybody out here really enjoys your photos and ride reports. The photo you took near Tioga Pass in the fall is my desktop photo on my work PC and that is the highest complement I can pay. Usually I only include photos I take - that fall photo is just the best!

I am honored... working on a 2012 retrospective... hope to have that done next week! B)

Great idea for a thread – we have some fantastic photographers among us. For Pants, 2012 was absolutely fantastic.

Looking forward to more adventure in 2013!!

I picked a few from the summer trip I took with Brodie up to Montana this year.

On US 89, looking towards the Grand Tetons.

IMG_6373.JPG

Near Logan Pass on Going to the Sun Road - some of you may recognize Brodie's Givi trunk from his first FJR - my trunk has a GoPro mount on it and we had swapped for the ride up the canyon.

In Zion NP - love the red roads, made from the local rocks!

This was a good year for a few little rides and one knockout, but they were all good. This, on the way to S.F. in about May.

IMG_6573_zpsfe35e72c.jpg

And a nice ride down the coast, ending up at Stewarts Point. From there, inland, via Skaggs Springs Rd. A good one. Here's OM in front, stopping for a pic.

IMG_2209_zps788b0fcd.jpg

Another good day ride, with Bugnatr and his sidecar-riding buddy (name forgotten, of course) exploring the north state this fall. Pretty day.

IMG_0138_zps7c0f3383.jpg

Shared a tech day with the PNW crew at Auburn FJR's place. Typical scene. One working, one watching, one eating pie. And one taking pictures, of course.

IMG_0080_zpsd320c0f5.jpg

Some nice scenery on the way up and back. The PNW is pretty spectacular. Like this glacial valley.

IMG_0098.jpg

Some nice fall colors, too.

IMG_0110.jpg

I also made it to FJRay's Reuben Festival. Nice set up for the shop. The reubens were good, the company was too.

IMG_2926_zpsa3fba483.jpg

While this wasn't really motorcycle content, I did ride the bike downtown to see the space shuttle Endeavor pass over as it headed to L.A. and mothballs. Cool.

IMG_0011_zpsc5752776.jpg

I guess about the only other ride I took this year was this one. I suppose the sign says it all.

IMG_2434_zpsd1e11176.jpg

Five forum guys, two S.O.s, and a bunch of Beemer riders from AZ. (Don, I counted you with US.) There were lots of Beemers here, but others too. Lots of choices for rentals.

IMG_2668_zps8ad4e73b.jpg

I even rode a BMW myself. Fun little bike. Costs about the same as a new FJR.

IMG_2451_zps6d7fe2b8.jpg

Eidelweiss set us up with great accommodations. Here's the view from my balcony the first night out (Austria). Next, from the deck of a later night's lodging. Tom (Huron52) and Pam, with a bunch of Arizona BMW'ers.

IMG_2558_zpse9c2e855.jpg

The scenery was gorgeous, and even the buildings were worth a long look. The whole place kind of looked like a Disney set.

Typical main streets in a couple villages we rode through. Sorry about the blur, but I thought it was an interesting shot. And these are seriously the main roads through these towns. Pedestrians, watch for traffic!

Here's the Grossglockner Pass in Austria. Nice road. Only 22 Euros to ride over it. That's a deal. Cars paid 32 (about $42 now). Austria is very prosperous.

IMG_2743_zpsb41b0e86.jpg

The view at the top. Those two peaks are the Grossglockner and the Kleinglockner. Near as I can tell, that means "Big Glockner" and "Little Glockner." Not sure what "Glockner" means.

IMG_2755_zpseb7185f0.jpg

Cows owned by Heidi's grandfather. They have a nice view, but it gets cold there. Not contented, like California cows.

IMG_2684_zps680505ed.jpg

Finally, the required food ****. Apple strudel. BEST. EVER.

IMG_2769_zps682c2752.jpg

Thanks for taking a peek. It's fun to go through them and try to decide which ones are "best."
