I still miss kick starters..........

Sorry, I'm old enough to remember kick starting everything including HD hardware and 2 stroke bikes as well as the advent of 4 stroke kick starters. Get it right or your day is screwed. One of the bikie bonding skills was being able to kick start various notoriously difficult machines. Tickle the carbs, push the kick starter down half a stroke, hold your tongue on the left side cheek near the molar, cross your eyes while moving your boot out to give a wide stance --- KICK, flick the throttle and pray the flame ignites :dribble: Well, it didn't fire, plan B ...... Thirty minutes later, wipe sweat. Plan ZZx... hold throttle wide open, turn off the prime switch, lean the bike over far enough to clear the float bowls, .....

FJR -- > push the button, GO. Did you even consider a different outcome?

Ion...you wouldn't believe the blinders that some idiots have towards kick starters. I used to burn off a lot of calories kicking over buddies bikes to clear the pipes while they took a break.
