My neighbor thinks Sherri's bike is cooler than MINE!

We went for a ride around the block and will practice more tomorrow!

Weeellllll now....congratulations! That FZ looks GOOD on Sherri, or is it the other way around...or both? Waaayyy kewel! Are we shopping for some soft luggage? A tail/seat bag? Tankbag? You know a girl has to carry the necessities.

I have some friends that ride and the FZ-6 is what she chose and she loves it. She says he will wring it out but she just loves to ride it and is happy well below the RPMs that produce max horsepower.

Let us know when the first "outting" will be. Yes, I realize there will be much one-on-one practice and lots of learning before there will be any group riding.

So now you just have to find a white-colored bike to put in the middle? (Red, white and blue. Duh.)

What a beautiful bike! All shiny and red. It reminded me of that feeling you got as a kid on Christmas morning when you went downstairs and there was a shiny new red Schwinn under the tree. So there's just more evidence that motorcycles bring out the joy most adults haven't felt since being a kid.

I want one too.... :(

Jb

Very purdy. With a new bike to break in I don't see that retaining wall gettin done anytime soon. Where you going to mount the camera, we still expect ride reports and pictures.

That retaining wall has been a 7 year project! So many miles, so little time! :yahoo:

Apparently, Penny got saddlebags for her new FZ6, and is going to send me pics. I'd be interested in getting them if they don't require me to alter the bike. Hey! She's new - give me a break!

I'm sure a tankbag will probably be coming into the picture. I already added frame sliders. Do those count as a farkle? :) And I want handlebar risers. I think it would be a little more comfortable with them.

You are right though, I definitely won't be on the roads yet. Just not there yet in the way of confidence/comfort. Gonna practice on the range where I took MSF a lot for a while. I did ride her around the block though with Andrew following me on the FJR. I got off and was all shaky and sweaty. One little block! LOL I'm cool hehe
