How are you taking these? Camera on a mount or just hand held?

You can take these type of photos with a GoPro or Contour. It can be set to take them every 5,10,15,30 (and so on) seconds. Not saying he did it that way, but that it can be done quite easy, without fiddling with a traditional camera.

i have and old canon s95 i'lll hang around my neck with a lanyard. just pick it up and shoot when i feel like it, some fiddling around (zooming and such)
