Great job Ray on putting the RTE together. Great T-shirts, good food, many FJR's, meeting forum members. Wish Pam and I could have stayed for the bbq but we had to do the out and back from Medford. Nice that you opened your house to forum members. (keep the guns, fireworks, black powder in the safe) Thanks to the Harvest Depot Restaurant, they did a fine job and I will return there in the future when in Lapine. I am sure the huge economical infusion caused by this event will put you at the top in the next Lapine mayoral race.

Thanks again, Bob and Pam

Thanks Ray for starting the Reuben Run, I have a feeling this will be an annual event  the dinner last night was great. I rolled in @ 2:45pm, rode home with LowandSlient / Adam, I had a great time seeing everyone and meeting new members.

GUNNY!

Thanks Ray for setting up and hosting a first class shindig. Awesome food, people and memories. Thanks for the taxi service to and from the hotel and all the hard work you put into setting this up.

Hope your up to doing this next year!

Gregory

Man...I had a frigging blast!!! Honestly one of the best times ever!

For those that don't know, a little too much faith in my PR3s left me needing tires when I got to La Pine. BTW, I wasn't the only rider they let down. Tom needed new skins too. So, we had a sammich, then hauled *** to Bend, picked up a new set each and then rode back to Ray's.

We got the bikes in the lifts and the wrenching started. As fast as we could get the wheels off the bikes, Ray was mounting and balancing the tires. It was Awesome.

Then Bust found that my brake pedal was sticking and Carver found my shifter was sorta squeaky. Stuff I was putting off till u got home. So we took an extra 5 minutes and got her squared away...Man, with friends like that, a guy can't go wrong.

The drinking starred about half way through the tire change and just got funnier from there. I haven't laughed that hard for that long in a long time.

The food was awesome, and the host was as gracious as anyone could ever be. Anyone that missed this REALLY missed out.

I Concour with HRZilla, was about as cool as a 1 day event ya can have! Thanks to Ray & his family for their work & hospitality putting this together!

That was the most fun I've had with my clothes on!

Thanks again to Ray and Patti for opening their home to a bunch of wayward riders. I'm in Quincy enjoying the best Subway sammich ever (didn't eat much today cause I was having too much fun!) and an adult beverage. It's a beautiful evening here and I'm looking forward to riding LaPorte Rd tomorrow! :yahoo:

Excellent sammich and big shout out to Ray and Patti for all the organization. As always, great seeing everyone again and meeting new friends!

Don had better be careful...'nut looked pretty comfortable on Miss Lucy Lu!! ;)

See all y'all again soon.

+10! Great get together for sure, Ray and Family out did themselves. Very nice of you to open your home to this group of surly outcasts. The shuttle service was awesome and allowed us lightweights to drink ourselves silly and not having worry about having to herd our steeds down the dirt road back to town. I really enjoyed checking out the cannons, bullet trap and pestering Dr. Rich who was trying to watch the USC/Stanford game. ;)

Thanks to Ray and his supporting cast!

Had an amazing time and it was great putting names and faces to forum handles. Like AJ said, amazing group of people.

I think I'm still digesting that reuben. Ray, why didn't you let people know a half order was available?!

And thanks to Marcus for being my rabbit on the ride home. It was a pretty good ride up and over 26. Once we got out of the smoke, the views were nice.

Ray and Patti outdid themselves. Really enjoyed the hospitality and food. Too much food -- that Reuben was a whole day's eating! A little surprised at the morning temp this morning, but it was a blast coming up to La Pine and meeting FJR riders from all over the west, . . . and a couple from the eastern time zones (Owasso, MI and Fredricton, NB). Many thanks, Ray.

Had a blast, and it was fun hot-rodding up to Bend to buy some tires with HRZ, then working on the bike with Ray, Carver, and invaluable coaching and harrassment from Fairlaner and Bustanut.

Just got back in the dark after leaving LaPine and traveling through Crater Lake, and dinner at the Sierra Nevada Taproom in Chico. Nice way to cap off the trip. What a huge fecking ruben! :dribble:

Thanks to Ray and Patti for putting this on. Fairlaner gets major credit as an organizer and tax collector as well. :clapping:

Ray was one of the first forum members I met at WFO4 when he was living in the San Juan's. He hasn't changed one bit, still a great guy. Thanks for the great weekend. Five Star.

Really! What wasn't great? Ray organizes a tasty lunch, gets commemorative shirts made, prepares a super BBQ, lends his mechanical expertise to those whose bikes needed it, opens his home to everyone for a post-gathering gathering, and even operates a shuttle bus service to boot!

:yahoo:

Hats off to ya, and a big thanks to you, Ray!

:clapping: Most excellent Ray :clapping: Most excellent!

Killer Reubens :) :) THE BEST I've eaten, kudo's to the sandwich maker. And who was the little guy running around making sure everyone had a seat? "Can I get you a seat sir?" -- priceless!
