Nobody stands up.
She repeats her question a little differently: "I'm sure there are some of you who may feel stupid in this class; please stand!"
Little Seamus Walsh stands up.
Miss O'Malley, with an undeerstanding smile: "Oh, little Seamus, do you think you're stupid?"
"No ma'am, but I feel so bad that you're the only one standing. You're not stupid, you know."
