Is there any 2002 / 2003 silver FJR's here? I just like to see some pictures of the silver one. My bike is currently blue, & i'd like to change it to silver, so i would love to see how they look, if here is a custom silver one it can be a bonus.

I have seen one very nice color from Europe sliver/blue. I'll look for it tonight.

Canadian FJR

Hey DaBrit, I like that subtle Union Jack design low on the fairing. Didn't even notice it till I'd stared at whatever you have hanging off your slider with orange zip-ties for quite a while. What the heck is that?

Gunny on the silver, though. Along with the black ones, one of my fav FJR colors.

Mike,

The grey union jack replaced a couple of full colour smaller union jacks due all the questions they raised, like, are you Australian (don't want my friends in Oz being lumped in with us Brits), what flag is that ?, and then there are the ones well I was stationed there from XX to XX, loved the place/hated the place etc. Now I can fly my home flag but it's a little more subtle, no one asks questions any more.

I got the idea off of this site (don't you just love this place) from a European guy who had Yamaha tuning forks done in a darker grey.

The orange tie wraps were a jury rig for the Vholdr 1080hd camera, just before our trip to the Snake River Canyon I decided to add an extra mount on the fairing without testing if the security strap would fit, it didn't. they were there just to stop it bouncing down the road in the event the mount comes unstuck.

If I could not have silver my choice would be black

Very nice pictures Dudewado,I was just thinking of the wet road reflective FJR picture today.

Here's a couple I've found on the web over the years of "foreign" silver/blue schemes:

And a very special one belonging to Yours Truly. Nothing special, really, (compared to other FJRs, that is) except the original owner put polished wheels on it in place of the original black ones, and I scored a color-matched Givi E52 shortly after acquiring the bike.

And one I found of Randy Mamola "demonstrating" the FJR at Daytona. Burnout, standing on the pegs. Pretty cool.

Of course if you want CUSTOM PAINT there is the one and only HELLCREEP.

Silver and then a few graphics :D .

Really awesome airbrush work

Lot's of 03's, but the 04 silver was different, as it had blue mixed in, and hence was called Cerulean Silver. Pictures don't do it full justice:

DISCLAIMER: I had an 04 previously, its just not the one in the picture.

I meant to add this link to my earlier post. My link

Go there and click on "Paint Jobs" and "Photo Gallery"; You will find many different colors.
