my current unit is nearling 3 years old.
How the hell? All of my satrads last no more than 6 months before the antenna connections fail. I went through 3 Sirius units and 2 XM's. WTF?

I couldn't imagine them not broadcasting on the current XM/Sirius units. My only concern is will Sirius,XM broadcast the same programming on the older (new to me 2730) ?
quit using them for bungee cords.my current unit is nearling 3 years old.

Good point! That is probably the reason for so many failures lately (mine included). They don't respond well to the front wheel shocks and berneral road vibration when mounted on the handlebars.quit using them for bungee cords.
i lay mine in my tank bag so it's out of the weather.
My experience also........glad they're availble cheaply on EBay. Is yours mounted on the handlebar? I've attributed my failures to vibration in the handlebars.my current unit is nearling 3 years old.
