Ian-

Fantastic product! Works really well with the stock shield...cant wait to see how well it improves the ride with the VStream.

Ian,The spacers worked GREAT! I guess I didn't realize how much turbulence I was putting up with. Guess you can get accustomed to most anything given enough time. Seems to have reduced the DB level (makes sense) as well. As always, thanks for the great farkle at a fair price. :clapping:
Glad they worked out for you. It's surprising what a few small parts can do.

I just got mine and WOW - they are fantastic. They absolutely exceeded my expectations. I thought my head/ears were simply just shot, or my custom mold earphones weren't working/fitting well anymore since I got my FJR (2005). I just couldn't get rid of the damn wind. The noise seemed MUCH quieter on my 1400 Intruder (with LOUD pipes). This is really great - I can again listen and hear my music/audiobooks at 85mph easily. What a releif. I wonder why Yamaha couldn't have gotten this one down with a simple wind tunnel test or two stock. Geesh.

Anyway, many thanks for the quick delivery & great product.

This simple to install farkle will reduce the infamous buffeting that many riders complain about on their 03-05 FJR. By installing my supplied hardware, your windshield will be tilted back slightly, to allow more air to travel underneath the shield. This farkle will work with any windshield, factory or aftermarket. I did bring some to WFO this year, and to my knowledge, everyone who installed them reported back to me that they noticed an improvement. As always YMMV
An added advantage for my setup with the V-Stream barn door windshield, is that the top edge of the shield is now noticeably lower when in the lowest position.

Tested at elevated speeds for long periods with no ill-effects to handling or rider, I Hope? :D

NOTE: You are SOL if you have either the FJR Goodies or the N/Line dash shelf installed on your bike!! My spacer kit is not compatible with either farkles. :(

All hardware is stainless steel to help prevent corrosion.

Price delivered - $24, making this possibly the cheapest bang for the buck farkle, next to a tank of gas to improve rider comfort.

Payment via snail mail or Paypal

Mail a check made payable to Ian Laing in the amount off $24 to:

Thanks for looking! :clapping:

Here is a comparison of side by side, stock and with my spacers installed. The windshield is the VStream.

Hey folks, as of 07/14/2007, I have a website for taking all orders for the various farkles I make. I am no longer taking orders by email, or via threads on the forum. Nor am I accepting Paypal any longer. All communication to me regarding orders should be made via the website.

You can purchase my farkles with a variety of payment options here: www.skywaymoto.com The website will make the ordering process much easier for everybody involved and will provide much better service to my customers by giving automatic email verification of orders, and tracking information.

Also, you will be able to see on the website if a certain item is in stock or not. I am going to have admin close these threads, so there is no confusion on how to contact me, or order farkles.

I appreciate all your support, and strive to provide the best possible service and farkles.
